I've been on this journey for almost 20 years. I led and was led by incredible people and along the way I understood that the role of design in companies is to support, connect, understand the needs of the business and users and help validate hypotheses quickly and efficiently. I believe that the initial role of a design team is to be a precision tool to accelerate, reduce risks and deliver experiences that have a strong connection with our consumers' journey. After designing many experiences, I moved on to design teams, structuring the strategic contribution of design in companies and defining the roles and responsibilities of designers as influencers in decision-making process.
Manage the design team and help solve local problems with a global vision and delivery. Help develop the design ladder and culture that support the Design team as strategically impacting the product and business teams in the ways of working processes.
